Lemmy passed away at the age of 70
Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee confirmed to the Swiss newspaper Expressen that the band died with Lemmy on the 28th: "Lemmy was Motörhead ," says Dee. Read the musician's statements:
“Motörhead is over, of course. Lemmy was Motörhead. But the band lives on in the memory of many. We won't do any more shows or anything like that, and there won't be any more albums. But the name lives on, and Lemmy lives on in all our hearts.”.

The band finished the tour for their latest album “Bad Magic” on the 11th in Germany: “It’s only been 20 days, it’s unbelievable. It’s fantastic that we managed to complete the tour with him. It’s comforting to think that we didn’t cancel because of Lemmy. I am very grateful for the years we spent together, and for the great times together.”
Lemmy Kilmister passed away yesterday , the 28th, after battling a recently discovered cancer.
