Mikkey Dee visits the Lemmy statue for the first time

Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee visited the statue erected in honor of Lemmy at the Rainbow Bar & Grill for the first time this month. The event was documented in the series "A Week in Dee World," which follows the musician on tour.

Dee begins by praising the statue, saying that a great job was done, and then adds: “He would be absolutely furious right now. You know why? Too much light! He would be saying, 'It's too bright!'

The artwork was created by artist Travis Moore and now stands in a 1.80-meter shrine outside the bar, which was his favorite spot. Moore made the sculpture for free, and the material costs were covered by crowdfunding from Motörhead fans.
