Mike Tramp released the lyric video for “Take Me Away” today, and Wikimetal exclusively shows the first unreleased preview of his new album, Trampthology , which arrives on December 18th via Target Records.
The project is actually a compilation by the artist, who chose sixteen of the most important songs from his eleven solo albums, as he explains in an Instagram post . Tramp also explains that the decision to release the compilation came from finding hope for the future in his catalog during uncertain times like the ones we are living through.
“The decision to include four new tracks on Trampthology and give fans something new also made me write songs that could add something fresh and interesting and complete this double album of twenty tracks. 'Take Me Away' is exactly that,” Mike says in a press release.
