The musician was not under the influence of any substances at the time of his death
TMZ recently released the full autopsy report for Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.
The website stated that, according to the toxicology report, Chester had low levels of alcohol and what they believed to be MDMA (ecstasy). Later, TMZ corrected the text, saying there had been an error and the musician had not consumed any drugs at the time of his death.
Despite the correction to the publication, Mike Shinoda issued a statement clarifying that Chester had not used drugs and hopes that other media outlets that published the initial information will also correct the error.
Chester Bennington passed away on July 20, 2017, at the age of 41. His death occurred just two months after the suicide of his close friend Chris Cornell .
