Mike Shinoda , lead singer of Linkin Park , released the new single "Already Over" last Friday, the 6th. The musician was responsible for all elements of the song, from composition and recording to singing and playing all the instruments.
The track received a music video directed by Dusty Deen , which features visual elements by himself, Frank Maddocks , Mark Fiore , and Mike Miller .
Regarding the song, Shinoda said: “'Already Over' came to me when I was sitting with my favorite guitar in hand – the same guitar I used on songs from 'What I've Done' to 'In My Head'. There was a familiar DNA in the song that I think Linkin Park fans will recognize. For me, it creates a bridge between the past and a hazy, but exciting future.”
the song "Still Alive" in March, along with Demi Lovato as well as "In My Head," with singer Kailee Morgue , for the sixth film in the Scream franchise.
Future plans for Linkin Park
The musician commented on the future of Linkin Park while the band was promoting the special edition of the album Meteora . He discussed possible scenarios, but ruled out touring.
