"I intend to continue with the band."
Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park participated in a Q&A session on his Twitter. There, a fan asked about the band's future, and Shinoda revealed that he hopes to continue working together.
Following the death of frontman Chester Bennington , the group suspended its activities indefinitely, performing only at the tribute concert for the singer .
Last Thursday, the 25th, Shinoda released an EP titled Post Traumatic containing 3 songs: “Place to Start”, “Over Again” and “Watching As I Fall”.
“The last 6 months have been a rollercoaster. In the midst of the chaos, I began to feel intense gratitude – for the tributes and messages of support, for the career you allowed me to have, and for the simple opportunity to create ,” Shinoda stated.
Now, he reveals that the work isn't finished. "I intend to continue with Linkin Park and the guys feel the same. We have a lot to rebuild and a lot of questions to answer so it will take time ," he wrote in a tweet.
Last month, the singer dismissed the idea of having a hologram of Chester Bennington , leaving fans wondering what the future holds for the band.
