The musician doesn't like the idea of a hologram.

In a recent Instagram live, guitarist Mike Shinoda was asked about a possible hologram of frontman Chester Bennington, who passed away five months ago.

“How about we don’t make a hologram of Chester? I can’t even wrap my head around that idea. Actually, I’ve heard some people outside the band suggest it, and there’s no chance [of it happening]. I can’t mess with that shit. (…) For some of you who have lost a loved one, a best friend, a family member, can you imagine having a hologram of them? It’s horrible. I can’t do that. I don’t know what we’re going to do, but we’ll figure it out eventually.”

The musician also recently gave an interview to Billboard magazine, where he commented on his grieving process: “It’s a non-linear process ,” he said, “There are no stages that happen in a certain order. Some people are having sad days and others are having good days, others angry days.”

Linkin Park recently released the album One More Light Live in tribute to Chester Bennington. Listen here.
