Mike Shinoda doesn't know if Linkin Park will re-record hits with Emily Armstrong on vocals.

The band announced their new vocalist on September 5th of this year.

Mike Shinoda , interacting with a fan on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that he's not sure if Linkin Park will re-record Chester Bennington with the vocals of the newly announced band member, Emily Armstrong . When asked on the social network if there would be new recordings of old songs, the guitarist replied, "I'm not sure."

Linkin Park announced during a live-streamed concert a few weeks ago that Emily Armstrong is the band's new vocalist, a move that has divided opinions among fans.

During the performance, the American group played some of their greatest hits such as “Numb”, “In The End” and “One Step Closer”, as well as giving the live debut of the track “The Emptiness Machine”, which has already been recorded with Emily Armstrong on vocals for the new album, From Zero , to be released on November 15th.

New tour and possible stop in Brazil.

The band recently began a tour with its new lineup, which will take them to the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Colombia. Rumors suggest the band will also be coming to Brazil later this year.

After interacting with fans, bassist Dave Phoenix gave hope to the Brazilian audience. When asked about a possible tour in Brazil, he promptly replied, "I believe so."

The band's last visit to Brazil was in 2017 for the Maximus Festival with vocalist Chester Bennington , who would pass away two months after this performance , at the age of 41.
