Mike Shinoda announced his new solo album, titled Dropped Frames, Vol. 1. The album was produced on Twitch during quarantine with the help and (virtual) presence of fans.

Scheduled for release on July 10th, the new album from the Linkin Park explores the concept of being an album created through streaming , as he explains. “The collection of songs is a highlight of the tracks I make on the channel, but a large part of the experience is the streaming itself. When I start, I usually have very little idea of where it's going to lead. What comes out is a product of viewer suggestions, my ideas of the moment, and whatever inexplicable magic is floating in between.”

Three tracks from the project are now available to listen to in their entirety; check out "Open Door" below, as well as the instrumental tracks "Super Galaxtica" and "Osiris".
