Mike Portnoy and Steve Vai will perform with Twisted Sister at the Metal Hall of Fame.

The band will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the organization's sixth annual event.

Mike Portnoy confirmed on social media that he will be performing with Twisted Sister band's induction ceremony Metal Hall of Fame . The ceremony will take place on January 26th at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California.

Twisted Sister's performance at the sixth Annual Metal Hall Of Fame Charity Gala marks the first time the group has performed together since 2016. In addition to Portnoy, the group will also feature Steve Vai.

Portnoy wrote on social media: “Looks like some metal news sites have picked up the scoop, so I guess the secret’s out… not only will Steve Vai and I be inducting Twisted Sister into the Metal Hall of Fame on January 26th at Canyon Club in California, but we’ll also be performing some live music for the first time since 2016 at the ceremony! Can’t wait to get there and jam with my sisters [a play on the band’s name] one more time!”

The classic Twisted Sister lineup of Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda, Mark Mendoza, and the late drummer AJ Pero will be inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame at the annual gala in 2023.
