In an interview with Metal Talk, drummer Mike Portnoy spoke about his current tour, in which he plays the song "12-Step Suite," a composition he released during his years with Dream Theater. The drummer says that after the current tour he doesn't intend to play any more songs from that band. See his statement:

“Musically, for me, this is the end. I don’t plan to ever revisit Dream Theater material after this tour. This is the definitive end of my journey with Dream Theater for me. I’ve been doing so many other things over the last six years, without touching the Dream Theater material that I’m doing on this tour, I have no more plans to play it. I have so much more in my life and career. This is the end in musical terms, but regarding the lyrics [of the 12-Step Suite, which deals with his recovery from alcoholism] , these steps are something I will have to carry with me forever in my life.”
