At the first edition of Knotfest Brazil, which took place last year, Black Pantera was one of the festival's attractions, along with Mr. Bungle , Mike Patton's band.
The photo was shared on Cavalera's Instagram and on Black Pantera's social media on Monday the 16th. On X (formerly Twitter) the band wrote: “This meeting just happened in San Francisco. Iggor Cavalera and Mike Patton wearing Black Pantera, and yes, he listens to them too, okay? He asked for merch at Knotfest and even took vinyl.”

Black Pantera makes a series of social criticisms in their music and has been gaining considerable recognition from fans of extreme music. In addition to the aforementioned festival, they also performed at Lollapalooza 2023 and Rock In Rio 2022 .
