Mike Patton , the versatile vocalist for Faith No More and Mr. Bungle , explained a disagreement with Axl Rose during a 1992 tour with the band that resulted in an extreme prank.
Guns N' Roses and Metallica tour . Faith No More was the opening act, but Patton was unhappy with the treatment he received backstage and decided to retaliate with a bit of "terrorism."
In an interview on the show "Por Dentro " with Regis Tadeu and Paulo Baron , the singer detailed what happened. "I peed on Axl Rose's teleprompter," he explained. "One day I was really bored, it was really boring touring with them, I hate to say it."

The boredom was compounded by the bad atmosphere on tour. “They treated us like crap,” he continued. “They paid us very well, but every day we were looking for something bizarre to do. Then one day, I peed on his teleprompter.”
Patton tried another disgusting prank on Guns N' Roses. “I grabbed a chocolate cake, put some of my coconut inside, and put it back on the table. Then we just stared at it,” he recounted. “I was waiting, thinking, ‘Maybe Axl Rose will eat it,’ but actually, a guy from our crew grabbed it. He sat next to me, about to eat it, and I yelled ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it!’ at the last second.”
