The tribute to Chris Cornell will feature Mike Patton, Foo Fighters and Metallica.
Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton has announced his participation in the benefit concert honoring Chris Cornell . Titled " I Am The Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell ," the event will take place at the Forum in Los Angeles.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel , the show will feature performances by Foo Fighters and Metallica . In addition, of course, to Cornell's colleagues from Soundgarden, Audioslave , and Temple of the Dog .
Patton wrote on Facebook: "Very honored to be part of the tribute to Chris Cornell on Wednesday in Los Angeles."
The proceeds from the event will go to the Chris and Vicky Cornell Charitable Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF).
