Faith No More and Dead Cross vocalist Mike Patton was involved in an accident last night, August 21st. Dead Cross, who had a show scheduled for Los Angeles that same night, cancelled their performance shortly before it was due to begin.
No details of the accident were revealed. The band informed the public that "it wasn't serious" but that Patton "is injured" and unable to attend.
In the video below, you can see the moment when guitarist Mike Crain informs the audience about the accident: “There’s been an accident. Mike has been in an accident. It’s not serious, but he won’t be able to come tonight. He’s hurt. I apologize. We’ll reschedule and tickets can be refunded at the point of sale.”
Drummer Dave Lombardo also addressed the audience: “On behalf of the band, we are very sorry. And we hope Mike recovers soon.”
