Mick Mars has released "Right Side Of Wrong," another single, which came with a music video, from his upcoming album The Other Side Of Mars .
“'Right Side of Wrong' has a kind of weird solo,” Mars told UCR . “Different from what I’ve heard anyone do. Maybe Jeff Beck could have [done something like that]. But I tried not to detract from it, but rather to say, ‘Here’s another level of me. Here’s the weird part – play a solo over this.’ It’s like a kaleidoscope, where these notes come out of it, and it has a different color from the rhythm of that part. I don’t know how to explain it properly, but that’s what came to mind.”
“I’m really trying to be who I am, which is a little strange,” he adds, laughing. “Maybe I’m from Mars? I have no idea.”
The Other Side Of Mars will be released on February 23rd.
