A survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation showed that one-third of adults in the United States are still undecided about getting vaccinated.

According to the results, 31% of the adults surveyed said they will wait until the vaccines have been available for a while, so that they can see the effects on other people.

The two main vaccines in the country are from Pfizer and Moderna, both with approximately 95% efficacy against the coronavirus.

In January, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) indicated that only 11 out of 1 million people experienced serious side effects with the Pfizer vaccine. With Moderna, the figure was 2.5 people out of 1 million.

Furthermore, the Janssen vaccine (the pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson) has been approved for emergency use in the US. With a single dose and 85% efficacy in severe cases, the vaccine works against new variants of the virus.
