Since the beginning of his musical career more than 10 years ago, pop singer Harry Styles has been the subject of constant comparisons to rock icon Mick Jagger .
They both share a certain physical resemblance, with green eyes and a wide smile, and Styles is also notable for his peculiar stage dances, but, according to Jagger, the similarity between the two doesn't go beyond that.
In an interview with the Sunday Times , the Rolling Stones commented on these comparisons, making it clear that he likes Harry Styles, but doesn't see the point in the comments.
“I like Harry, we get along well. So, I used to wear way more makeup than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous,” he joked. “And he doesn’t have a voice like mine, nor does he move on stage like I do; he only has a superficial resemblance to me when I was younger, which is okay. He can’t change that.”
Jagger and Styles have known each other for a long time and have supposedly always had a good relationship, with Styles being an avowed Rolling Stones fan. In 2014, his former boy band, One Direction , performed one of his songs with Ronnie Wood on the TV show The X Factor . Currently, it's not possible to find videos of the performance on official internet channels, Vimeo account still has a recording .
