The Rolling Stones' last studio album was released in 2016
Mick Jagger, lead singer of the veteran rock band Rolling Stones, is writing new music. The band will be touring the UK, where they will be joined by Liam Gallagher, Florence + The Machine, and Richard Ashcroft.
In an interview with the Independent IE, the singer said, "I'm writing at the moment ." Asked if his ideas would be part of a solo release or a Stones album, Jagger replied: "I'm just writing. And it's mostly for the Stones. I don't think too much about what I've written. I just keep moving forward."
The Rolling Stones' UK tour begins on May 22nd.
