Mick Jagger is back in theaters with the production of The Burnt Orange Heresy , a film directed by Giuseppe Capotondi that premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2019 and will be released in theaters worldwide later this year.
In the film, whose first trailer has been released, the Rolling Stones plays an art dealer named Joseph Cassidy who tries to convince critic James Figueras ( Claes Bang) to steal a work by the artist played by Donald Sutherland .
The Burnt Orange Heresy is based on the book of the same name by Charles Willeford and will be released on March 20th in the United States. The release date in Brazil has not yet been revealed. This is the singer's first major role since Confessions of a Seducer , a 2001 film.
