Apple Music 's Zane Lowe program (which you can watch in full here ) to promote the band's new single, "Living In A Ghost Town," released last week, Jagger comments on McCartney's statement given on the same program, in which he claims that the Beatles were better than the Stones, even though he loves them.
“That’s so funny! He’s a sweetheart, obviously he has no competition,” says Mick, but continuing, he defends his band, “They broke up before the industry started, before the big touring industry started, actually. We were doing big tours in the 70s, and we’re still doing them today. That’s the real big difference between the two bands, one is still incredibly lucky to play in stadiums, and the other band doesn’t exist.” We can’t deny he has a point!
