Michael Schenker Group releases music video for their own version of Scorpions' "In Search Of The Peace Of Mind"; watch it.

“'In Search Of The Peace Of Mind' had to be my 50th anniversary celebration song,” he states.

Michael Schenker , under the band Michael Schenker Group (MSG) , released the album Immortal celebrating the 50th anniversary of the artist's career. To further celebrate the release, the track showcasing MSG's touch on the song "In Search Of The Peace Of Mind" from the 1972 album Lonesome Crow by Scorpions received visuals.

“'In Search Of The Peace Of Mind' had to be my 50th anniversary celebration song,” Schenker explains. “It means a lot to me because it was my first musical composition, which I wrote when I was 15 years old. And it was also the first song I put on a record, also when I was 15.”

“Furthermore, this song from the original Scorpions album 'Lonesome Crow,' the first album the Scorpions ever recorded, has a solo that was so perfect I would never change a note in 1000 years,” he adds. “I have no idea where it came from, alongside the other solos on 'Lonesome Crow,' where you can hear that I'm an amateur, young and developing like a child. But this pause at the beginning came from somewhere else. I have no idea how it happened.”
