Throughout Bullet For My Valentine's , guitarist Michael Paget had the opportunity to play with bands he always admired and meet many idols. Even today, he remains a "fanboy," as he told The Wikimetal Happy Hour .

Asked if he had gotten used to these encounters with names like Steven Harris from Iron Maiden and James Hetfield from Metallica , he denied it. “No, it blows my mind and I freeze. I’m not very good in those situations. Matt [Tuck , vocalist] and the other guys laugh and have fun and I’m just [speechless],” he said. “I get terrified, but I’m lucky to be able to meet them all. I’m still a big fanboy.”

Bullet For My Valentine is preparing for the release of their seventh studio album, which bears the band's name and was delayed due to pandemic-related issues . Promoted as the heaviest album to date , Bullet for My Valentine will be released next Friday, November 5th.
