Michael Kiske , legendary vocalist of Helloween , shared details of his musical taste in an interview on The Wikimetal Happy Hour . Passionate about classical music, the singer dislikes bands like Slipknot .
When asked by Nando Machado if he listens to new bands, Kiske showed a preference for idols like Elvis Presley and the Beatles. “Currently, I listen to 90% classical music. The great heroes Beethoven, Wagner, Bach, Mozart and many others,” he listed. “When I listen to rock, if I feel like it, it’s usually older stuff, generally from the 1980s.”

The artist's musical taste leans more towards harmonies. "I didn't like the brutal metal that became famous in the 1990s, like Slipknot or anything like that. It's just hell," he said humorously. "Your ears are in hell, you know?"
