Michael Anthony denied the reunion tour on Instagram
A recent rumor Van Halen reunion tour featuring the original lineup. This would be the first time the band's founding members, including singer David Lee Roth , would perform together since 1984. But Michael Anthony poured cold water on the fans' hopes.
Three days ago, Anthony posted a photo on Instagram playing bass. The caption read, “Some R&R in the motorhome with the family before Circle with Sammy Hagar !”
A fan commented, "I thought Circle was on hiatus because of the Van Halen tour." To which Anthony replied, "The Van Halen tour is not happening."
Sammy Hagar – former Van Halen bandmate – had recently confirmed the tour. He said that Michael had been contacted last year by Van Halen's manager to discuss the matter.
