Bassist Mia Wallace has returned to Abbath , according to information from the musician herself on Instagram.
Wallace, who is also part of Nervosa , shared a photo from when she played with the former Immortal member. In the caption she wrote: “Love you guys, we’ll be back soon.” A fan asked if Mia had returned to the band and she replied that yes, she would continue in Nervosa.
Mia Wallace left the group in early 2020, saying she was "forced" to leave . Speaking about her departure, she commented that she "didn't always agree with certain other people on Abbath's team." "I gave my honest opinion, without any negative intent, but not everyone understood it that way. I'm disappointed that none of my former colleagues contacted me during this process, except for a 5-minute call from the manager saying I was no longer needed for the project," she stated.
Mia also revealed that she was ordered "not to contact anyone in the band." "The explanation was unfounded and only left me more confused. I was preparing for the European tour. I had to cancel other plans and take time off from my job for the tour I had prepared so much for," she said.
