New releases will feature previously unreleased material
Metallica confirmed on their official website that the re-release of the albums “Kill 'Em All” and “Ride The Lightning” will take place on April 15th. The new editions have been remastered for better sound quality and will be available in three versions: CD, vinyl, and deluxe box set.
The deluxe edition of “Kill 'Em All” includes 4 vinyl records, 5 CDs, 1 DVD, and a book with rare photos. The edition of “Ride The Lightning” includes 4 vinyl records, 6 CDs, 1 DVD, a book with more photos, a small book of handwritten lyrics by James Hetfield, and 3 posters.
