Metallica has released a recording of a concert they performed 28 years ago in Brazil. The group retrieved a performance of "Wherever I May Roam" from a show that took place on May 2, 1993, with VIPER as the opening act , at Palmeiras' stadium, Palestra Itália, in São Paulo, now called Allianz Parque.

This is yet another sample aimed at presenting fans with the extra material that will be included in the reissue of the band's Black Album , which has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. It is also another demonstration of Metallica's affection for the Brazilian public, since in April of last year the Californian group released an exclusive live album for Brazil containing 18 tracks , all recorded at performances held on Brazilian soil.

The reissue of the Black Album is scheduled to hit the market on September 10th and is already available for pre-order. The new edition of the Black Album also includes The Metallica Blacklist , featuring over 53 artists performing their own versions of songs from the album. Check it out here.
