Metallica signs partnership to launch sneaker models
Metallica has teamed up with Vans to bring fans two new sneaker models: the Sk8-Hi Reissue and the Classic Slip-On. Both will be available for purchase at the Met Store starting this Friday, the 16th. There's also a t-shirt and a cap.
At the Met Store, Metallica's official online store, you can also find various t-shirts, tank tops, long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, beanies, caps, as well as accessories such as bracelets, buttons, rings, patches, magazines, tablature books, vinyl albums and much more.
The band emerged in the United States in the 1980s and is considered one of the greatest heavy metal bands today, having sold over 57 million records in the United States alone, in addition to winning 9 Grammys, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, and many others. The band will also receive the Polar Music Prize in June, Sweden's most prestigious music award. Read more here.
