Metallica released an unboxing video last Monday, March 3rd, showing the different editions of their album 72 Seasons , which will be released on April 14th. The album will be available digitally, as well as on CD, vinyl, and cassette tape.
In videos shared on Twitter, which can be seen at the end of this article, James Hetfield shows the contents of the packages. "Looks like a box of vinyl records fell off a truck and somehow ended up at Metallica's headquarters and in James Hetfield's tattooed hands!", the group wrote.
The revelation, however, didn't stop with the physical versions. When the vocalist brought the project closer to the camera, the duration of each of the 12 tracks was also revealed. It will be approximately 77 minutes of pure rock.
Recently, Classic Rock magazine published its first impressions of 72 Seasons , stating that the work is intense and heavy .
