Metallica returns to the Billboard Top 10 after 29 years with 'The Black Album'.

The band hadn't been on those charts since 1992.

After 29 years, Metallica saw their return to the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 with the re-release of the Black Album , which included several reinterpretations of their songs reimagined by a list of 53 artists called The Metallica Blacklist .

With 37,000 album-equivalent units sold, the record soared to the 9th position and secured Metallica their first Top 10 since 1992, when they spent four weeks at number 1. Billboard charts currently count not only album sales themselves, but also download and streaming numbers on digital platforms.

One of the most successful versions on the Metallica Blacklist is undoubtedly " Nothing Else Matters ," recorded with Miley Cyrus Elton John on piano , who recently moved James Hetfield by saying that the Metallica classic is "one of the best songs ever written."
