Metallica performed “Too Far Gone?” for the first time last Sunday, the 6th. The track is part of their most recent album, 72 Seasons (2023) .
The show that first featured the song took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
M72 tour , Metallica plays in the same city on two dates, each with a completely different lineup and opening bands. The format became known as the "No Repeat Weekend."
Sunday's show began with "Whiplash" from the debut album Kill 'Em All (1983) and also featured four songs from the new album: "72 Seasons": "Lux Æterna", "You Must Burn!" and "Too Far Gone?"
Metallica last visited Brazil in May 2022, and their time in the country was marked by strong emotions; one of them being the birth of a baby inside the stadium in Curitiba .
According to journalist José Norberto Flesch , the band is expected to return in 2024, between October and November, bringing back the current format of the M72 .
