Metallica 's classic , "Sad But True," has been given a new twist by the Mongolian band The Hu .
“Like millions of people around the world, Metallica has been a huge influence and inspiration for us, music fans and musicians,” says Gala . “We admire their 40 years of relentless touring and the timeless and unique music they’ve created. It’s a great honor to show them our respect and gratitude by recording a version of 'Sad But True' in our language and in Hu’s style.”
The track takes on a new meaning and feeling with instruments and native Mongolian language; check out The Hu's version, and below, the original 1993 version by Metallica:
