Metallica 72 Seasons this Monday, the 27th . According to the caption on their social media post, the track is scheduled for release on March 30th.
The 15-second teaser, which can be seen at the end of this article, shows a heavier sound, reminiscent of the famous thrash metal of the albums Death Magnetic (2008) and Hardwired to Self-Destruct (2016).
According to the official Metallica community, the song is expected to be the fourth single from the project, following " Lux Æterna ," " Screaming Suicide, " and " If Darkness Had a Son ."
72 Seasons will be released on April 14th and is the group's first new work in seven years since their 2016 album, Hardwired to Self-Destruct . In 2023 and 2024, the band will tour to promote the new album, performing two shows in each city with different setlists. More information can be found on the official website .
