Metallica S&M2 on August 28th their live album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, and it debuted at number four on the Billboard 200.

S&M2 , recorded exactly one year ago, sold a total of 56,000 units last week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. This figure is based on a combination of physical and digital album sales, track sales, and streaming.

The band and orchestra recorded the performance on September 6th and 8th, 2019 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The shows marked their first reunion since recording S&M in 1999.
