Metallica a special for their 40th anniversary.
In partnership with The Coda Collection , seven new titles will be available on the subscription streaming service for the first time, shedding new light on the band's 40-year history and offering fans the chance to relive some of their most iconic performances.
The series began last Thursday, the 24th, with the release of Cunning Stunts and Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México .
Two separate concert films, dubbed Metallica 40th Anniversary LIVE from Metallica's highly anticipated anniversary show at San Francisco's Chase Center last December, will be released by The Coda Collection on March 31 and April 7, respectively.
In these memorable shows, the band played a series of rarities, dusting off songs like "The End Of The Line" from Death Magnetic for the first time since 2010, "Dirty Window" from 2003, which hasn't been played since 2011, as well as "Bleeding Me" (1996), which was played in its entirety for the first time in 10 years.

Notably, A Year and a Half In The Life of Metallica , the 1992 documentary chronicling the making of Metallica's self-titled fifth studio album, will make its streaming debut through the new series.

Metallica played their first show of the year in February, performing in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, where Ice Nine Kills and Greta Van Fleet performed as support acts.
Earlier this week, Metallica was revealed as part of the lineup for the 2022 Lollapalooza festivities, announced alongside Dua Lipa , Green Day , and many more.
