Lars speaks with Billboard
In a new interview with Billboard, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich stated that the highly anticipated new Metallica should be released later this year. Check out the statement:
“We’re getting there! I think it should be finished soon. Unless something radical happens, it would be hard to believe it won’t be out by the end of 2016. That’s the path we’re hoping for. But obviously, the way we do things today is very different from how we did them back in the days of “Kill 'Em All” and “Ride The Lightning”. Today we like to do so many different things – we like to write and record, but we also like to be Record Store Day ambassadors and release deluxe editions and play in different places (…) But anyway, the album – it’s coming. Almost complete. We should finish soon. We hope. End of quote!”
