Metallica scheduled to perform in Australia and New Zealand after lead singer James Hetfield was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic.

Lars Ulrich , the band's drummer, spoke about his colleague and friend's recovery during an interview with USA Today , commenting that he is "doing what he needs to do." "I feel bad for everyone in Australia and New Zealand, but we're excited to come back in full force, stronger and healthier than ever."

Metallica will come to Brazil as part of their Worldwired in April 2020. The opening acts will be Greta Van Fleet and Ego Kill Talent .
