The discussion surrounding the controversial 2011 album Lulu , a collaboration between Metallica and the legendary Lou Reed, seems far from over.

In an interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM last week, the band performed tracks like “Wherever I May Roam”, “The Unforgiven”, and “All Within My Hands” to promote the release of S&M2 , and discussed various topics, including the controversial album, where the band stated it was a great experience making music alongside Reed, and drummer Lars Ulrich revealed that he wouldn't change anything about the album, despite the criticism. Recently, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed even offered to “fix” the album .

The band also commented on the possible pressure to adopt the glam-rock in the 80s, which received a hilarious response from James Hetfield , who stated that "they are too ugly to look like women." Furthermore, the group heaped praise on singer Lady Gaga , with whom they shared the stage at the 2017 Grammy Awards , stating that she is "extremely creative and a fearless artist."
