Metallica will donate $350,000 to coronavirus prevention through their NGO, the All Within My Hands Foundation .
The band said in an announcement last Tuesday, March 2nd, “Following the spread of the coronavirus, the most vulnerable people in our communities need help now more than ever. All Within My Hands will be making four donations totaling $350,000 to organizations dedicated to helping those most affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic.”
The four foundations chosen are Feeding America , Crew Nation initiative Direct Relief , and Bartender Emergency Assistance Program .
Furthermore, Metallica is also raising donations during the Metallica Mondays livestream , which has already totaled $15,000 in donations from the band's fans.
