Metallica fans have a lot to celebrate! The group announced a special podcast, and the first episode was released this Friday, the 20th.
The first part of The Metallica Podcast will dissect the Black Album , which is celebrating its 30th anniversary with various releases . The show will have eight episodes, which will be released weekly.
In this first episode, Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett , and former bassist Jason Newsted discuss the entire creative process behind the album, as well as the recording and the tour that followed its release. The group also welcomes Ron Quintana, Brian Slagel, Big Michael Hughes , and Cliff Burnstein to discuss how the Black Album became the landmark album it is today. Listen below.
