You know that saying, "like father, like son"? The children of Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich proved that the children of great musicians can also be great little musicians!

Myles and Layne Ulrich rocked out on drums and bass in a garage-rock of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby".

The recording was made by the (proud) father, who was invited by Marc Benioff , CEO of Salesforce , for one of his weekly talks. Usually, at the end of the program, the guest plays something, but Lars thought people wouldn't want to see a drum solo, so he had the idea of taking advantage of his children's presence at home due to COVID-19 to present something different.

“It was like this crazy three-minute version of Blue Cheer, a garage-rock version of 'Eleanor Rigby',” says Lars, beaming with pride at his sons' performance. “Obviously, there have been some incredible versions of 'Eleanor Rigby' along the way, but I'm sure there's never been one that had this kind of sound, this kind of feel, this kind of energy, and this craziness. I was like, 'You know what, boys? You made me proud.'”
