Metallica has shared the remastered version of "The Struggle Within," which will be part of the commemorative release of the Black Album , to be released on September 10th by the band's own label, Blackened Recordings.
As part of the new release, the group also shared a cover of the song by the duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela , giving it a new arrangement. Listen to both versions below.
For the commemorative release of the Black Album , the record will be released in various formats such as double vinyl, triple CD, digital, and a deluxe box set containing the album on double vinyl, a picture disc, three live vinyl records, 14 CDs, 6 DVDs, a hardcover book, and much more. The band will also release Blacklist , a project featuring dozens of artists who recorded their own versions of songs from the Black Album.
