Metallica has spoken occasionally about the process of the new album, but until now the group has only talked about the subject. Now, they have released a video of the four of them rehearsing in a studio .
The video was originally posted to the official Instagram , but YouTuber Will Weems did us a great favor and uploaded the video to his channel. Months after being in social isolation, James Hetfield appears opening the recording, which is dated August 6, 2020 at 3:20 pm. Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett , and Robert Trujillo appear shortly after, all wearing masks. Then, the group begins to play "Creeping Death" from the album Ride the Lightning.
