Metallica released an LP of the audio from their performance at the I Am the Highway , a tribute to Chris Cornell held on January 16, 2019 at The Forum in Los Angeles .

The band performed versions of "All Your Lies" and "Head Injury," Soundgarden 's 1988 album , Ultramega OK . Now, the audio is available on the LP Tribute to Chris Cornell , produced by Greg Fidelman , mixed by Jim Monti , and directed by Billy Joe Bowers.

The new release arrives as part of the Vinyl Club , Metallica's vinyl club. The LP was released on August 9th with cover art that uses graphic elements from the 2016 Hardwired… to Self-Destruct

Vicky Cornell, the musician's widow, commented on the release, thanking the band for their affection: "Thank you so much to Metallica for the love and appreciation you showed for Chris and for remembering that love, admiration and support from his performances at the I Am the Highway on this truly incredible and special vinyl."
