There's no doubt that the re-release of Metallica 's Black Album is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band's legendary self-titled album, the super special edition arrives on September 10th containing multiple configurations for fans who want to acquire it in various formats.

Among the huge variety of extra material – including rough mixes, demos, interviews and live shows – is the CD Pre-Production Rehearsals , containing rehearsal versions of Metallica during the pre-production phase. It is from this session that the track “Don't Tread on Me (Pre-Production Rehearsal)” was extracted, released this Tuesday, the 27th.
