The band broke records with their current tour
The legendary band Metallica has been drawing crowds to arenas, stadiums, and large concert halls around the world for years. Last June 16th, the band played in Hämeenlinna, Finland, and it was no different.
The band drew 55,000 people to the show, which would be a common number in São Paulo, for example, where the band has performed in venues such as Morumbi Stadium and Interlagos Racetrack. However, as pointed out by the website Loudwire , Finland's population in the 2017 census was 5.503 million, meaning the heavy metal legend drew almost 1% of all Finns to their concert.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, Metallica released a video about the event. Watch it below and then check out the setlist from the show.
