Metallica is set to share the stage with Miley Cyrus very soon on Howard Stern's radio show on the American network SiriusXM .
The band announced the performance on social media with a call for the show's next guests, featuring Metallica and Miley as the musical acts. Expectations are high for a performance of "Nothing Else Matters," a track from The Blacklist , the 30th-anniversary album of The Black Album , which will be released this Friday, the 10th.
Before receiving the official invitation to record a new version of the Metallica classic, the singer had already impressed with covers of various rock bands in her shows, from Hole and Pearl Jam to Pink Floyd and Nine Inch Nails .
