The track is part of the band's latest album
Last Tuesday, October 24th, Metallica performed at The O2 Arena in London, England, where the band performed "Spit Out The Bone" live for the first time.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, drummer Lars Ulrich revealed that the initial cut of the track was ten minutes long. "That was the first time we stopped to wonder if we were overdoing it ," he said.
The track is part of the latest album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, released in November 2016.
