Metallica played a unique and special show this weekend, sponsored by Coca-Cola Zero, in Antarctica. The show took place yesterday, the 8th, and featured only 19 fans from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, and Mexico, winners of a Coca-Cola promotion .
In addition to fans, scientists from bases near Carlini Air Force Base, organizers, and a few journalists also witnessed the show.
The show took place inside a constructed arena, with over 15 tons of equipment. Attendees listened to the show with headphones to minimize environmental impact. Check out the setlist and video of the show:
